I have the makin's of about five sets of the first-18 notes of 16' "pedal reeds" (posaune, etc.). I had been doing these for a Charter AIO member now pushing up daisies, who had used several sets in his work, to great tonal success. These pipe-parts each consist of a Pakkawood block (3" dia. x 2.5+ high), Pakkawood schallot (not yet slotted/bored!), fitted maple wedges (ever try making those???!!!), a paper-phenolic boot (3" O.D.), and a little ferrule of Pakkawood which glues-into the bottom of the wooden resonator you make, which then fits into a boring in the top of the block. I have that builder's "engineering drawings" for these pipes, with all dimensions for the resonators, and some notes, and I will supply these WITH all-90 notes to the builder who want's 'em all. Or, copies at-cost, to any builder who wants only one set. (As I recall what I was once told, he used 18 "all wood" notes, plus 14 all-metal notes for the "trebles", to make up 16' Posaune stops).
