The Schantz Organ Company is looking for a Pipemaker to join our team. New employees will spend time with our skilled workers learning how to make, restore, and process the pipework of our instruments. This position involves working with metalworking machinery, utilizing various specialty hand tools, finishing equipment, working as a team to lift heavy components and/or testing components for accuracy and sound craftsmanship. Ideal candidates would have experience with:

  • Metalworking/Soldering
  • Reading Engineering Drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail

Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as a team.
  • Adaptability and a good sense for solving manufacturing challenges or problems.
  • Be familiar with production equipment and machinery, as well as safety guidelines.
  • Have good communication, organizational and time management skills.
  • Perform other duties as directed.
