Bond Organ Builders, Inc in Portland, Oregon is seeking another skilled person for organ tuning and maintenance. We maintain over 160 pipe organs in the PNW, and currently have no shortage of work as we have somebody retiring this year. Occasional travel would be involved – in addition to taking care of the majority of pipe organs in Portland, we frequently travel all over Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and even California and Alaska when requested. October to Christmas is our primary travel season, but ideally with the right number of service people, the travel responsibilities would be divided equally. We would love to find somebody who already has a good deal of tuning experience, as well as the knowledge to diagnose and repair other common issues.
In addition to our busy service department, we also have several restoration and refurbishment projects presently in the works. Skills or experience with woodworking, fabrication, electronics, and/or voicing are all a plus. We offer health benefits, competitive pay, and the work is abundant!
