A tubist as a young man in California’s Santa Clara Vanguard, and later a baritone in the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus, Dave earned double bachelor’s degrees from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. A temporary job as a key holder progressed to an apprenticeship with the Muller Pipe Organ Company. In 2002 he began to freelance as an installation technician and voicer with several companies nationwide. As a member of the Canterbury Singers USA, he participated in thirteen choral residencies at English cathedrals. Dave was AIO Convention Coordinator from 2008 - 2018. He and his wife Lori have doted upon a long line of miniature and standard schnauzers, and one extraordinarily untrainable dachshund. Dave has particle weakness for air-cooled Volkswagens and Stanley Steamers.
