Richard Parsons is a fourth generation organbuilder and current President and Artistic Director of Parsons Pipe Organ Builders in Canandaigua, NY. The Parsons firm recently celebrated their 100th year. Their services include the annual maintenance of 200+ pipe organs throughout western NY and northern PA; the restoration of historic pipe organs and the manufacture of new, custom, pipe organs, nationally. Ric is a member of the Organ Historical Society and International Society of Organbuilders and is past-President of the Associated Pipe Organ Builders of America (APOBA) and past-Vice President of the American Institute of Organbuilders (AIO) where he completed the exam requirements for their Fellow certificate.
