Schoenstein & Co. seeks an experienced organ technician to join its staff. We have a long-standing culture of excellence and collegiality. Many of our employees stay 20 years or more, and we have an even spread of ages from 30 to 70. Required qualifications include experience in organ tuning and maintenance, the ability to work independently and efficiently, and availability for occasional travel.
Additional organ building or other craft skills, including voicing, control systems, wiring, and wood working are desirable. We offer excellent pay and health insurance. Our work schedule is 6:00am-4:30pm Monday – Thursday.
Our location 35 miles northeast of San Francisco and 3-day weekends offer myriad opportunities to enjoy beautiful Northern California without the expense of living in a major city. We are surrounded by hiking, biking, sailing, charming towns, and more; beaches, the Sierras, and city life are all within a short drive.
