Lincoln Pipe Organs is a small company located in Lincolnton, North Carolina, 35 miles northwest of Charlotte. Lincolnton is a small town with easy access to highways, large cities, major airports, mountains, and only 4 hours to the coast.
We are a service company and service instruments in all the surrounding states. Our fully equipped wood shop provides additions, rebuilds, and a variety of new components for our clients, along with organ relocations. We generally work four 10 hour days in the shop with Fridays being available for flexible shift hours. During tuning season or on installations, overtime for such is required. We generally work Monday-Friday and at home on the weekends. The company pays hotel expenses. Employees are not required to share lodging.
We seek a service director to help facilitate a growing client base. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Schedule tuning and maintenance calls
- Perform tuning and maintenance
- Assist with data management of clients
- Hire and train new employees
- Direct flow of service-searching projects
- Communicate with clients
The service director should have the following:
- Good hearing
- Knowledge of the pipe organ
- Skills associated with pipe organ repairs
- Organizational skills
- Work well with clients
Travel is part of this position. We work hard to spread overnight and day travel amongst all employees.
Compensation/benefits:
